| Baritone solo, moderate difficulty. Circa 4 minutes. Donegal Bay is an original composition written in the style of an Irish Air. After the introduction, the Baritone leads the way in a lovely slow reflective melody. The cornets take over the melody line leaving the baritone to play a lyrical obligato melodic motif that leads back to the original theme that brings the piece to a close. A lovely piece of music that encapsulates the wonderful style of the Irish air that suits the sound and style of the baritone perfectly. |
