Walking with Heroes inspires Leeds Met |
 Black Dykes partnership with Leeds Metropolitan University has grown in success especially with their Young Composer in Association Paul Lovatt-Cooper. Paul’s brilliant concert opener “Walking with Heroes” was used frequently by Leeds Metropolitan University particularly in their many graduation Ceremonies. This has led to a commission by Leeds Met for Paul to write a new piece for them to use throughout 2008 particularly with their partnership with Northern Ballet Theatre and their tour of China.The piece entitled “The Light Fantastic” is a lively and exciting concert piece and will be unveiled officially in Spring 2008.
